Contemplative Church Services
- The Church of Conscious Harmony offers a Lectio Divina Service with 20 minutes of Centering Prayer Sundays at 8:00 AM CT, a Devotional Service Sundays at 10:00 AM CT, and a Mid-Week Contemplative Service with 20 minutes of Centering Prayer Wednesdays at 6:00 PM CT. These services are in-person, or can be watched online via this link.
- Metanoia Journey offers an in-person contemplative gathering in Austin on the first Sunday of each month, at 10 am Central. Details here. Starting in February 2026, they will meet twice a month in-person on the first and third Sundays of each month. Details and location will be the same. Additionally, they offer an online Centering Prayer/Lectio Divina gathering on Sunday mornings when they don’t meet in person, beginning at 8:30 am Central. Details and zoom link here.
- San Gabriel Presbyterian in Georgetown hosts a Ecumenical Wholeness Contemplative service the 4th Sunday of every month- in-person and livestreamed. For more info, select this link.
- Bethany United Methodist, holds contemplative worship at 6:30 pm on most 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, in Grimes Chapel (Discipleship Building).
- Hope Chapel offers a Taizé Service at 7:00 PM occurring every 3rd Sunday of the month (except for holidays).
- St Hildegard’s Community offers a Sunday afternoon contemplative service (both on-line and in-person) at 4:00 PM CT. For more info, see this link.
- Life In The City, just off of South Congress offers Contemplation In The City. This contemplative group meets monthly for a 60-90 minute service. Each service has a reflection, time for sharing, and a 20-minute period of Centering Prayer.
